The Porta Neb nebuliser compressor system can be used with either the durable Side stream or Vent stream nebulisers. The side  stream, which is supplied with facemasks and mouthpiece, provides fast, accurate delivery of all commonly prescribed respiratory medication every time. The technology has been designed with bronchodilator treatment specially in mind. It is not suitable for steroids or antibiotics which should be used via a Vent stream nebuliser. The Vent stream which is used with a mouthpiece responds to your breathing pattern, so you get more medication when you breathe in and less waste when you breathe out. It is supplied complete with a vent hose so can be vented to the outside. An expiratory filter is also available.
