The HealWell® AFO Night Wrap helps prevent nighttime
contracture with countervailing tension to hold the
foot neutral. This helps relieve pain and discomfort and
speed healing in new or mild conditions such as Achilles
tendinitis, plantar fasciitis or arthritis. Designed to wear
during rest or sleep.
During sleep there is a normal tendency to plantar flex,
causing the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon to contract
from their normal
active length. Nighttime contracture can result in
significant heel and foot pain and discomfort for those with
Achilles tendinitis, plantar
fasciitis or arthritis. This simple device is designed to
control nighttime contracture to treat and relieve
discomfort in new or mild cases of these
conditions at their onset to help prevent further injury.
