Infection Control
The entire mattress cell system (excluding foam base) and cover can be completely removed and laundered up to 80°C to aid decontamination protocols

The multi stretch PU cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and impregnated with Acti-fresh biocide to help prevent the build up of bacteria and ensure it can be easily cleaned to aid disinfection protocols

White inner substrate (underside of the cover) helps auditing procedures by making staining easy to identify

The simple tactile control panel can be easily wiped clean to ensure there is no harbouring of pathogens unlike traditional dials and switches

 

Controlling the Micro-climate
The build up of excess heat and moisture weakens the skin and increases the risk of skin breakdown; controlling the micro-climate between the patient and the mattress will help to maintain skin integrity and reduce the risk of developing pressure ulcers.

Specialist air vent holes in each cell circulate the air between the patient and the mattress helping to maintain a cool, dry environment

Pulsation, Therapy and Autofirm modes provide non-alternating pressure relief, ideal for patients who cannot tolerate a moving surface

 

Ease of Use
Autofirm setting provides a firm support surface to allows the carer time to position and prepare the patient 

Lock out function allows the carer to prevents any unauthorised setting changes to the pump unit

Easy access and simple to use CPR facility via the pump unit allows rapid deflation of the mattress within 10 seconds to aid emergency procedures

The entire system can be fully inflated within 30 seconds
