The NeoTURN 5300 system is equipped with functions of pressure relief alternation, lateral rotation (can work concurrently and independently) and low air loss at a push of a button. A total of 8 turning angles can be adjusted according to patients' needs and the maximum turning angle is about 30 degree*. The continuous lateral rotation helps to improve redistribution of pulmonary blood flow and the variable turned-angled pause time enhances patients' mucosal drainage. The side cushions provide patients the optimal comfort and safety while in the rotation mode. Additional base pocket is provided for insertion of 2" foam to prevent bottoming-out during power failure. For ease of care taking, the mattress can be easily changed back to flat surface (static mode) within a very short period of time.
